گاهی در سفر های سیاسی نشانهایی بین طرفین رد و بدل می شود. ناصر الدین شاه وقتی به فرنگ رفت چند نشان از میزبانانش دریافت کرد که یکی از آنها نشانی بود که پسرش آنرا زانوبند شوالیه می نامید و دوست داشت دولت پروس همانند پدرش به اوهم بدهد. هیچ فکر کرده اید این نشانها به چه درد می خورند. پرسشی که شاید برای بسیاری از کودکان پیش بیاید ولی معمولا بزرگسالان به این مسایل اصلا فکر نمی کنند.
